The website is a kinky BDSM, bondage, fetish and alternative lifestyle personals web service run by the same people who run AdultFriendFinder, the FriendFinder network. Alt.com promotes self-expression and aims to give people the courage to practice alternative sexual lifestyles and techniques such as bondage and domination.
On its quick search panel on the right side of its home page, visitors can browse for members’ profiles. Aside from the usual choices of gender, location, and age range, one is asked to choose what type of sexual fantasy or activity one wants.
Members of the site can create profiles for free. They must complete their profiles with answers pertaining to personal sexual preferences, activities, and lifestyles. The website also features webcam chatting for its subscribers. Also, anonymous emailing, chatting and instant messaging are open to its paid members. The site also provides a “Purity Test” link asking the visitor to take the test to determine the level of one’s sexual preferences or otherwise one’s purity.
Subscribers also have their “Love Dog” email feature which sends them “Love Dog Reports” on other members’ messages or events happening.
Users of the site also share their views on kinkiness and also get expert advice from the website through its magazine and blog features. Discussion groups and forums on fetishes and sexual advices are also available for them.
The website also has other language versions for international subscribers.

Save your money. The site isn't worth your time. Took a membership for three months. Know what I got? Nothin'!

I signed up there to blog and perhaps to correspond with one or two similarly wacked out persons. The community is fine, there is a mix of predators - males masquerading as females, and the like - and some genuine wothwhile people. Alt's layout is fine tuned to force you to pay money, or go nuts. Well, they have to stay in business.

If there are any real people on alt.com I'll eat my keyboard. You can send off dozens of emails just requesting any acknowledgement they are real and in your area and you will watch a tumbleweed blow through your inbox. But they will charge you for this privilege. Go to a large bookstore and offer to buy someone a cup of coffee, at least you will see real people.

Dreary site. Wanted to meet single real submissive men for ownership and some healthy slap and tickle (he'd tickle me and I'd slap him lol).

ALT.com is a complete and utter waste of time. In the 5+ years I have been there, I have met very, very few people of quality. As well, the site is often slow or out and out broken. It's obvious the technology that runs it is antique and poorly done. Their domain name and pay for referrals programs are what keeps them in business.

Alt.com is a great community of like-minded people such as myself. :)
