Amigos.com comes out in two other versions aside from English: Spanish and Portuguese. A quick search of members’ profiles is possible through the Quick Search panel on its home page. One can also browse by categories which include romantic relationships, pen pals, or activity partners.
Upon clicking the “Join Now” button, one needs to fill up a profile asking general questions such as birthday and type of relationship, then creating an account. To the left side of the account creation box is the section where one can see the members who are online, along with their pictures.
The “Browse” option takes you to the different relationship categories and a listing of states and countries all over the world.
One can also chat in the website. These chat rooms are classified by geography and also by relationships such as friendship room or romantic room. This feature, however, requires one to create an account. One can also subscribe to “Cupid email” which enables the person to receive messages from other interested members. There is also an online web magazine in the site that uploads articles on dating, family relations, romantic relationships, etc. Also, one can post or view blog entries, which are mostly in the Spanish language.
