Dating Interview

It is very important to start your dating interview in a positive way. I suggest you begin by thanking the person for taking interest in your ad and asking a few warm up questions about his or her experience with online dating to break the ice.
The move on to your specific questions, remembering that the other person want to know about you as much as you want to know about him or her.
When questioning someone, it is okay to be direct, but be careful not to come across as if you are interrogating the person. This is supposed to be a friendly exchange of information, not a police investigation. s with any kind of communication, it is not what you say, but how you say it, that counts.
When asking a question, ask it without being judgmental. You can get the facts without telling a person they are right or wrong.
If, during the interview, you learn something about the other person that you don't like, simply make a note of it in your logbook, but keep your disapproval to yourself. If what you hear is unacceptable, you can quickly but politely end the conversation. Try to end all of your conversations on a positive note by thanking the person for his or her time.
Although it is important to listen to your intuition when a caller sounds completely wrong for you, I want to caution you against over screening callers to the point that you end up eliminating everyone. Stay firm in\on finding someone who shares your values and goals, but try to be flexible in areas of less importance, such as hobbies and interests.
For instance, if you went fishing once and didn't enjoy it, and you interview someone who likes to fish, don't throw away the chance to meet the person just because of one negative experience. You never know, the next time you go fishing you might catch your lifelong mate!
Once you start talking with the other person, it is likely the conversation will either flow easily or it will feel like you are pulling teeth. If it is awkward and uncomfortable useless to set up a meeting. If, on the other hand, conversation flows, there is a comfortable give and take and some humor, you will want to arrange to meet.
Remember, always pick to meet that is public and busy, and always provide your own transportation. Do not give out your phone number and address until you are positive you want to see this person again.
