Dating Yourself
Posted on 09/02/2009
Dating yourself is quite possibly the most satisfying way to date. You know from the start that you are building a relationship that will last. You don't have to worry about infidelity. You always get to choose the restaurant and you never have to pretend you are in the mood to see movies. You win every argument, and you will never lie awake in the wet spot feeling unsatisfied.
How to Date Yourself with Style and Sensitivity!?
- Eat over the sink by candlelight.
- Surprise yourself with unexpected gifts a bottle of great champagne, a red rose beside the bed, and X rated video.
- Treat yourself to a sexy new outfit.
- When you catch your reflection in a store window, flirt shamelessly.
- Buy yourself flowers.
- Plan fun weekends getaways to romantic spots.
- Turn the music up and the lights down and slow dance barefoot in the kitchen.
- Gently caress you hand or your thigh at the movies.
- Sleep in your slinkiest nightgown or nothing at all.
- Whisper sweet nothings into the air, then spin around really fast to catch them in your ear.
- Take long walks in the moonlight, hand in hand, making plans for the future.
When dating yourself, it is important to communicate clearly, just as in any other relationship. Make time for pillow talk a few nights a week. If you set an appointment with yourself, you will know you have a sacred and safe place where you and your hand mirrors can spend some quality time together in bed :) "I love spending time with you.
You are the best thing that is ever happened to me. It is fun getting to know you. You make me so happy. I have never loved like this before. You complete me." When you say words out loud, your feelings resonate and actually become more real.
After you have dated yourself for a few months, you will feel rejuvenated and ready to date other people. Or you may feel rejuvenated and realize you have found your soul mate, the love of your life, and you never want to date anyone else ever again. But either way, you will feel rejuvenated.

Data can be daunting at any age, but as you get older it can become even more frightening. So you want to find the safest way to secure and find love again. When you reach an age that you think should have installed a long-term, but is alone again, you can be alone. This may be your partner dies or a failed relationship. Whatever the reason, you must find the confidence to go out again.
