Respect The Relationship

Sometimes a relationship ends for no apparent reason. Both partners were good people. He was reliable, steady, dependable. She was hard working, faithful, fastidious. What went wrong ?
Often, the best way to understand what what went wrong in a relationship, is to understand why you got together in the first place.
- Did you become involved in this relationship on the rebound?
- Were you lonely and trying to fill a void?
- Were you tired of being single when all of your friends were married?
- Was your home life with your parents so painful that you were willing to accept any port in a storm?
- Were you looking for stability after years of upheaval and uncertainty?
- Was your physical attraction so strong you were unable to see what kind of person you were getting involved with?
- Asking yourself these questions will help you look at your past relationships from a different perspective. Instead of focusing on the pain that ensued as the relationship fell apart, you can begin to understand that it was probably doomed from the beginning, and as a result you will be better able to choose the right mate for yourself in the future.
The thing to remember is that every relationship is worthy. When your relationship ends, honor it for the good it has borough to your life. There is somthing positive to be gained from every experience in life, even from a relationship that causes you pain and suffering. Your beautiful children, your increased awareness or yourself, the people you met and became close to as a result of your relationship, the new ideas you were exposed to, skills you learned, the fun you had (admit it, you had some fun) are all the reasons to be grateful.
If you have had a relationship that has ended, bless it for the good it has brought to you and prepare to move on to the relationship of your dreams with your perfect mate.
