Who Is My Perfect Mate?

It is time to think about the wonderful person who's going to come into your life. Imagine your fairy godmother is standing in front of you, asking you to describe your perfect mate.

What traits would he or she have? It is okay to be attracted to someone with completely different traits than you.

Opposites attract!

1. Personality. Are you attracted to someone with a sense of humor? Do you like being around people who are talkers? Do you tend to be a plodder who needs someone who is very spontaneous in your life!

2. Hobbies. Do you want to meet someone who enjoys listening to music or going to the theater? Maybe you want to be with someone who enjoys sightseeing or traveling.

3. Family. If you have children, be sure to meet people who enjoys them. Trust me, both you and your children would be miserable if you were with someone who did not like children.

4. Physical Traits. What are the physical traits that attract you to someone? Do you like someone tall or short? Do you prefer thin or full figured? Muscular or wiry?

5. Travel. Are you looking for someone to go boating or cruising with? Do you enjoy driving or flying to your destinations?

6. Religion. It is important to you that your mate be a religious person? Do you want someone with the same spiritual beliefs as you?

7. Sports. Do you want someone to play a sport with or who can join you as a spectator? Do you care if your mate watches sports on television?

8. Health Habits. It is important to you ton be with someone who is health conscious? Do you want someone who has an occasional drink or does it bother you if the person drinks alcohol?

9. Exercise. Do you exercise regularly abd do you want the same in your mate? What form of exercise do you prefer?

10. Politics. Would the fact that someone votes or doesn't vote bother you? Would you be comfortable with a political activity? Does it matter what political party someone prefers?
