Christian Cafe is an online dating service mainly for Christians who are single all over the world. The company is based at Ottawa, Canada.
Upon entering the site, one can do a quick match on the search panel on the right side of the screen. One chooses the gender, age range and location to do this free search. Visitors can then avail of the free trial if he/she decides to search for more profiles or contact the person. This includes posting one’s profile and browsing for other members’ profiles. Members who are online and logged in are shown through real time count in the website.
Once a member, one can send and receive messages free to other members. Also, one can post prayers or prayer requests for other members. Searching is also made easy for registered members as one can choose more detailed information search such as personal interests and organizations. Moreover, one can also make use of their suggestions on how to make one’s profile more appealing to searchers.
A relationship advice column based on Christian teachings is also available. In connection with their members’ safety, the web site posted some tips and advices when it comes to meeting dates in person.

I met my wife on ChristianCafe in late 2004 and we first met face to face in early in January 2005. Things progressed very well and we are now engaged and planning to get married in the next 6 months. | |
