Catholic Match Review
Catholic Match is a serious Catholic site dedicated to people who want to discuss religious vocation or topics related to it. Since 1998 this Catholic website has been up and running. Despite the fact that matchmaking is not the companies main focus, Catholic Match is one of the largest Christian dating websites online.
Catholic Match is a serious Catholic site dedicated to people who want to discuss religious vocation or topics related to it. The website was established in 1998 and it claims that its primarily goal is not to do matchmaking. Catholic Match is set up for single Catholics to be able to meet each other and help each other concerning their religious lives. However, currently, users can search the site for friends, partners, or chat partners on vocations, which they also now support.
People of all types of religious backgrounds are free to join, as long as they are open to conversion. However, the site does not encourage marriage between Catholic and non-Catholic. The web site is also dedicated to Saint Raphael, who is the patron saint of single people.
Catholic Match's online Catholic website also promotes Catholicism through Bible quotes and forums named after saints, which contains Catholic teachings on marriage and other topics such as abortion and contraception. Moreover, a Catholic magazine is also accessible in the site, plus a free test of a person’s temperament, which is based on Hippocrates’ studies.
In addition, Catholic Match members can also check the site for events schedule such as Bible study, conference, rosary group, movie night, or even dance parties.

#1 CatholicMatch is the perfect

CatholicMatch is the perfect environment for a catholic man such as myself to find a good honest catholic girl to start a family with. Catholic values are very important to the site and the members.

Not a very good site. They are very concerned about making money and some of the "staff writers" put out some of the most vile liberal diatribe I've ever scene. If you are serious about faith, stay away. Don't let the wolves in sheep's clothing fool you.
#5 Better than eHarmony

Haven't been there long but can already tell from the type of questions that they ask more pointed personality questions (instead of picking from some pre-written list) than eHarmony. Of course, with Catholic Match you expect to meet singles who are (or at least claim to be) Catholic -- although the number of "cafeteria Catholics" (the ones who don't accept all 7 of 7 foundational beliefs of the Church) is a little surprising, and sad.
#6 I’ve recently graduated from CM because I found the most

I’ve recently graduated from CM because I found the most beautiful girl. While I was there I learned a great deal in the forums and made numerous friends for life. It was fun, wholesome, worthwhile and ultimately successful. There are technical glitches from time to time but they seem to want to keep it running well. I’ve noticed that liberals don’t enjoy the atmosphere but regular sort of Catholics are very comfortable and enjoy themselves. Read or contribute to the forums!

Well, Jim, you are one of the lucky ones then. Let’s see, first problem with CM is there is no way to block someone. In fact, if you are not a paying member, you cannot even respond to state you are not interested. If you contact CM, however, CM will block the person for you. I had to do this. Second problem, people do not respond if they are not interested – I think a little common courtesy and asking yourself “what would Christ want you to do?” or “how would you like to be treated?” would lead any good Catholic, or any Christian, or anyone for that matter, to courteously respond that he or she is not interested – perhaps part of the problem, however, is that CM does not allow non-paying members to respond to let someone know that he/she is not interested. Third, the whole asking about how much of the Catholic Church’s teaching you accept is disturbing – as one would think that if you do not accept the Catholic Church’s teaching, and hence are “protesting against it,” you should leave the Catholich Church and become Protestant.

inactive(nonpaying)members not allowed to use most features anymore. Can’t tell who sent messages to you or who has looked at your profile, but they use your profile to get others to sign up.
