Date.com is a nice site. It has a lot of members which is good, especially in LA (where I'm from).
On date.com I can search profiles and contact men that I am interested in getting to know. I usually like to exchange emails and phone calls before meeting up for a date.
I've enjoyed my time on date.com and recommend you try them if you are looking for a partner.
#2 Lots of members.

Lots of members. Nice layout. If you aren’t a paying member, you need to watch out for them trying to scam you. I supposedly had 27 interest notifications in the last 4 months, yet my profile had not been viewed by anyone. Either the site is trying to scam me, or there are a lot of scammers on the site. I suspect the former, because when members are trying to scam, they are usually gorgeous women. These were just normal women, some of them were not attractive at all. I suspect the site is sending fake interest notifications, hoping to get someone to sign up so they can communicate with the “interest notifications”.
#3 Bait and Switch Scam

This is a fraud. Once you activate a free account, this company immediately sends emails from fake profiles to garner your interest. To read the messages sent by the fake profiles, or even see the interested persons account information (i.e. it is a working account), you must pay a high fee for their services compared to most other online companies.
After only a couple of days of realizing fraud, I emailed to have my account shut-down and a refund. Date.com did not oblige my request. I attempted to call the companies number on the invoice on my online bank statement only to discover it is a number for a phone-sex line. I have emailed customer service again expecting no results but did however contact the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint.
