The next step is to create your own profile with the web site and upload some photos for other users to view. Lastly, you complete your subscription in order to contact other Match users that you would like to get to know.
The website offers the "Who's viewed me" option to its registered members so one can check out who has searched or viewed their profiles and photos. There is also what they call Match words, which are actually keywords that you can use to aid you to find people who have mentioned that they share common interests with you such as liking certain movies or sports teams. The Match.com community forums are also available for people who want to discuss things that they share common interests in.
For members who are not often online, the website created its mobile phone version, Match mobile. It is here that people can send messages to each other. Currently, this service is available only in the United States.
Mind Find Bind with Dr. Phil is also accessible for daily life notes and quotes. One can also listen to audio recordings by Dr. Phil on topics such as dating and relationships.
Match.com also runs international versions of their sites for European, American, Asian, and Pacific countries.

Hot guys and hot times! WOO! There are a lot of players on Match.com but a player can always be played.
A have been on many real life dates with men I have met on Match and sometimes I had a great time, but like all other places, sometime I had a really boring time.
You should always be careful, ofcoarse.

Some of the guys on Match.com can be really sleazy, but there are also some really genuine people on there. I met my current boyfriend on match.com and I am very happy!

The ladies on Match.com can at times be very kind and pretty to look at (especially on dates) but there are a lot of superficial people on that site.
I am a humble country boy and I'm looking for a gentle little lady to call my own. Match.com is a good place to start... and I'm using it's search engine always.

Match gets a hard time of it in the press and on online dating reviews sites like this one, but I have used match.com few maybe 6 months now and i like it.

I met a guy, and he is a complete player. He is always on line and I am so sad because I fall for a guy hard. I was wined and dined, walked and talked, and you guessed it.. seduced. i am so scared now because he pulled off protection and I am worried i have a disease. I am so depressed feeling used and I feel like I will never meet a nice guy. I am afraid to post my pictures. I am feel like it is useless and that I should warn the girls on the site. I am scared now of men and I am so worried that I am sick.

I paid for a six month membership on match.com. I constantly received matches with no pictures, which was very frustrating. My number one rule for meeting people online is they must have at least one picture to view right off the bat and more to come after that. I also filled out I did not want to have kids, but most of my matches definitely wanted kids. I wanted someone who shared the same faith and ideals and half of them were atheist. I have nothing against guys who want to have kids or who dont have the same beliefs as me, but when I’m paying for a website to find me the proper matches, it drove me crazy to have to filter through alllllll these guys every day who I would never be interested in.
I did meet a really incredible guy and we totally hit it off. We met on several occasions but in the end we didnt have the overall chemistry to make it a lasting relationship. Other than that, I had zero responses from guys in whom I showed interest, but that can happen on any site…it’s hit and miss!
with any website you have to be careful, so so so careful!! I can’t stress that enough. There are some people I just don’t think should venture into online dating. If you’re a poor judge of character (albeit, first impression is through a screen there IS a way to get to know someone a LOT just from emails and chatting), stick with meeting people face to face.
As far as recommending this site? I definitely think it’s the best paying website out there. I’ve spent hours researching the rest. But as for me, you’ll find me on plentyoffish.com. not because free is necessarily better, but because there are waaaaaay more users, the odds ARE that much better I could meet a serious potential mate.

There I said it. I know you can go on the Internet and read a ton of hateful reviews out there mostly from guys who have tried Match.com and gone down in flames.
And let me say this to all you haters out there, it’s not Match.com it’s you. If you use Match.com properly, and by this I mean write well written, well thought out emails, create a good profile that is not filled with self pity and hate, and work at it a bit you can easily go on two to three dates a week just from Match.com.
