Yahoo Personals Review
Yahoo Personals is a dating portal which is part of the large Yahoo.com website. On top of online dating, this personals website contains stories of various Yahoo Personal users' experiences as well as reporting on various dating activities and events that Yahoo have organised.
Yahoo Personals offers two distinct services: Yahoo Personals for casual dates, which costs $24.95 a month and Yahoo Personals Premier for serious relationships at $39.95 a month. Yahoo Personals maintains its project called "Real People" which is a scrapbook and database of people’s profiles and photos. It also contains stories of various Yahoo Personal users' experiences as well as reporting on various dating activities and events that Yahoo have organised (including photos of these events).
Browsing profiles at once can be done through the search panel the site has provided on its home page. It is also possible to perform a more detailed search using certain criteria such as personality, ethnicity, preferences, etc.
Voice or video recordings are open to both Yahoo Personals and Yahoo Personals Premier members, as well as the flirting options feature. There are also other features to Yahoo Personals such as Tango Magazine and page on safety and security tips on dating. In addition, a separate link for dating articles is provided along with success stories of relationships formed through the site.
Yahoo Personals is also available in international versions for countries such as Canada, Australia and for European locations such as the UK, France and Germany.

Yahoo Personals isn't as good as other leading dating sites like Match and American Singles. It does offer some interesting features, but Yahoo Personals feels more like an add-on to Yahoo instead of a REAL online personal services.
There are a lot of people on Yahoo Personals, but none that interested me.

As a fulltime professional working in New York's finance industry I am very busy. As I am sure you can imagine.
Yahoo's online dating service has given me the ability to meet people and form friendships that I simply wouldn't be able to do without the help of the internet due to lack of time.
I cannot comment on how Yahoo Personals compares to other online dating services because this is the only dating site I have ever tried. I can tell you, however, that I am very happy using Yahoo Personals. I give them 4/5.

Yahoo Personals is quite fun. I've had a date or two with people I met on the site, but I am not in a relationship with anyone.
Decent site with decent features. Part of Yahoo.com, so lots of members.

Yahoo Personals is full of spammers and fake profiles.. You would think for the rate they are charging they would better screen people.. You have to be “paying members” to write.. You can receive email. If you try to include your email when writing someone the site will remove it You have to disguise it. Oddly enough it seems many spammers are paying members? They might have hacked in to the system or using stolen Credit card numbers to creat paying accounts. It seems to be mostly Russian Spammers but Nigerian also.. You can tell simply by how they construct and phrase the sentences and paragraphs using words that in English we don’t normally use in simply converstaion.
There are some very real and sincere people out there on the dating sites and the spammers are out there to try to prey on you so just use your head.. If it is too good to be true it probably is! Never send money to anyone!!
